It was an absolutely incredible night. Esperanza dazzled as expected with her sublime array of musical talent, radiating joy, love and life. Bobby McFerrin brought his eclectic vibe and electrified the crowd with his amazing stage presence. Gretchen soothed with smooth, yet forceful vocals. AND, to the delight of the everyone in attendance, the legendary Paul Simon performed two all-time classics with masters of contemporary jazz. I love how they arranged their sets to perform and play off each other, together as opposed to seperate sets. This performance reminded me of the ability of art and music to speak truth and love through sound. Only regret is that a live recording or DVD isn’t available to share with family friends. Absolutely incredible. Thank you to Esperanza for putting together such a memorable night for a great cause!!!
