Wynton Marsalis, Esperanza Spalding and more for SFJAZZ Center’s second season

SFJazzComedian Bill Cosby starts the season with a fundraiser Aug. 26. Other big names include bass player Esperanza Spalding, playing in a trio with pianist Geri Allen and Terri Lyne Carrington (Oct. 24) and a quartet with drummer Jack DeJohnette and saxophonist Joe Lovano (Feb, 19.) Wynton Marsalis rolls in with the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, March 20-23; new music trailblazer Laurie Anderson combines music and stories (April 17-20); and Wayne Shorter holds forth with his quartet (March 27-30).
